Kate Schumacher has been a runner since the beginning of her short, 17 year life. In fact, when Kate was two she ran to America from a land known as Far Far Away. Kate was initially raised by ogres, and although she dreamt of being the proud daughter of Shrek and Fiona, when she realized that was not a possibility she ran and settled in the mean streets of Excelsior. Ever since, Kate has lived as a street bum begging for her food, clothes, money etc. Kate’s biggest accomplished came last year when she earned $9 and a free McDonald’s McFlurry in the same night of begging. Kate hopes to inspire other ogre-raised-runaways-turned beggars through sharing her endeavours in the Knight Errant.
