Every day next week, the BSM Student Council will be collecting clothes for a winter clothing drive. Items that can be donated include new or gently used winter coats, jackets, hats, gloves, and snow pants. All of the donations will be given to STEP, an organization in St. Louis Park. The goal of the Winter Clothing Drive is for every student to donate at least one item of clothing, and if this goal is met, English teacher Ms. Anna Overbo vows to dye her hair pink. Donation baskets will be kept in each homeroom for students to drop off their donations. “We really want to do good for the community and help out our neighbors at STEP for the Winter Clothing Drive,” senior and vice president of student council Carter Burn said.
