Alex Kang, Staff Writer
Meet Alex Kang. Never heard of him? If you’ve ever been late to school, you’ve probably seen him walking in with you. If you’ve ever seen a mad person loudly arguing politics during lunch, that’s him. Alex is all over the school: in the North Building playing his cello, in the commons talking to Ms. Anderson, or in the math resource center avoiding questions. What people don’t know about him, however, is that he’s a jump rope enthusiast. At the age of 3, he learned to do criss-cross, double-jump, and high knees. Today, he can jump up to 160 times per minute and he owns 7 different types of jump ropes such as beaded, weighted, leather, plastic, cloth, double dutch, and snake skin.
