The Benilde-St. Margret’s Varsity Jazz Dance Team has been awarded an invitation to the Best of the Best Performance showcase. The showcase will be hosted by the University of Minnesota and will feature their own dance team as well as the best teams from Minnesota’s colleges, high schools, and all star teams. This is a competition in which the hosts invite the teams they believe to be the best the state of Minnesota has to offer. Therefore, it is a massive honor and achievement for the Knightettes to be invited to this competition. “Best of the Best has always been such an honor for us to participate in. It’s so exciting being able to put on a show with phenomenal college teams like the University of Minnesota. I have always looked up to the U of M, as does every dancer, so it has truly been a privilege for our team to be invited the past few years,” senior captain Natalie Chevalier said.
