It’s 7:00 on a Saturday evening, and Pittsburgh Blue steakhouse is the place to be. Located in the Edina Galleria and in Maple Grove Arbour Lakes area, Pittsburgh Blue offers a very cozy and family-friendly vibe with big leather booths, checkered table cloths, and an old traditional-styled bar.

Pittsburgh Blue is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy a meal with friends, family, and co-workers. “It is a steakhouse for people who work hard and want to enjoy the rewards of a superbly flavorful steak,” state the owners of Pittsburgh Blue on their website.

Although they are known for their steak, Pittsburgh Blue provides a wide range of options for even the non-meat lovers. For brunch, they have everything from omelets to eggs benedict to lobster and shrimp cocktails, and for lunch one can get a burger, salad, or fish. The dinner menu is quite large and offers food ranging from amazing appetizers such as their famous Scallop Benedict to their entree salads, burgers, sandwiches, filet mignon, signature steaks, and specialty seafoods.

When it comes to their speciality meats, the price tends to range anywhere from $30-50 for a steak, but their Blue Tavern menu at the bar offers most food for under $15. Pittsburgh Blue is known for their happy hour, which is daily from 3-6 pm. So, make sure to check or call to verify the times. Their happy hour specials range from $3-6 and offer pulled pork sliders with flavorful onion strings, crispy veggie chips, to the Wimpy Burger on a very soft sesame bun.

Pittsburgh Blue is owned by the Parasole restaurant group, who also owns Manny’s Steakhouse, Mozza Mia, Chino Latino, Uptown Cafeteria, Salute, The Good Earth, The Living Room, Burger Jones, Prohibition, and Muffuletta Café.

Due to also owning Manny’s since the 1980s Parasole group has had a strong business in the steak area. One can compare Pittsburgh Blue’s, meat to Manny’s because it is perfectly aged and carefully selected with good color and just enough beefy flavor.

At each location they offer a “Club Room” for companies, families, and friends to rent out for social events. So whether one is looking to unbutton their sleeves and kick back one’s feet at the bar or enjoy a fun night out with family or friends, come to Pittsburgh Blue.
