The sophomore class took time to learn about their classmates and themselves at BSM’s annual Respect Retreat on Friday. Designed to nurture a sense of respect between students, the retreat used get-to-know-you games and contests to bring students closer together. Mr. Mike Jeremiah, along with 78 senior peer ministers, organized and participated in the retreat to give sophomores support to bond as a class. “The theme of the retreat is definitely one of respect. I think the basic goal is simply to help each person see others as gifts; not judging others, but simply accepting people for who they are,” said Mr. Jeremiah.
