Sammy Deterding spends her time playing hockey. If it’s not on the ice throwing out chirps it’s in her basement pounding out slap shots as fast as Zdeno Chara and Shea Weber. Sammy casually added lacrosse to her athletic résumé last year and let’s just say it’s easier said than done when it comes to learning how to catch and throw a ball correctly. Learning the rules was a different story because they really don’t make sense. Still, after an entire season of playing, some of the calls made are beyond her. If Sammy is not playing sports, and if there simply isn’t anything to do, you can find her sitting in her room for endless hours watching Netflix, because who can just watch one episode of Grey’s Anatomy and not keep going?
