The Red Knights scored five goals in the first period and didn’t slow down as they went on to rout the Totino-Grace Eagles 8-0 on Friday, February 1. Junior forwards Kaylee Druk and Brittany Wheeler both had two goals apiece, and junior captain Kelly Pannek tallied five points off of a goal and four assists. Two of BSM’s goals came on the power play, and junior McKenzie Swenson scored the game-winning goal just over two minutes into the contest. Junior goaltender Abbey Miller got both the win and the shutout after stopping ten shots on net.
