Senior Ciera Hanson’s special talent is understanding visual art as a means of communication.

Where do you want to be in 15 years?
“Hopefully into a job I am happy with and don’t just have to do to get by (not sure what would be yet). I think it would be cool to gain more experience living somewhere else besides Minnesota as well.”

What talent do you find unique or important to you?
“I think one of my biggest talents that is unique and important to me is my understanding of visual art as another means of communication.”

Describe your childhood in 4 words.
“Bowl-cut, Hippo, Disney, Wayzata.”

Who is your hero, and why?
“My grandmother because she has always been a prominent leader within her community and among the people she cares about: that’s something I aspire to be someday.”

What is an item you bring with you everywhere, besides a cell phone?
“I bring any kind of earbud or airpod with me because I’m constantly listening to music whenever I can.”

What makes you laugh?
“Poorly done taxidermy.”

Are you someone that wants someone to spoil the end of a show or movie for you?
“I don’t necessarily want someone to do that, but I also wouldn’t be mad if it happens; I’m probably still intrigued enough to watch the show/movie to see how they got to that specific ending.”

What is your least favorite fast-food chain?
“If I have to choose, I’d say Subway; there’s just nothing special about it to me.”

What fast-food chain is your favorite?
“My favorite fast food place is probably Raising Canes or Five Guys.”
