Polar Plunge 2015
March 19, 2015
In Eden Prairie on Saturday, March 14, seniors Meghan Ortizcazarin and Jon Cadle decided to do the polar plunge as a way to raise money for kids in the Special Olympics.
They wanted to do it as a way to raise money for kids in need and also because they thought it would be something fun to do. ย โEach person that was there raised at least 75 dollars or more,โ Ortizcazarin said. ย โWe thought it was a good cause and something fun to check off our bucket list.โ
The event was not too serious but also a lot of fun for the participants, as many of them dressed up in various costumes. ย โA lot of people there were in costumes so there were people dressed as pirates,โ Ortizcazarin said.
