Math league begins journey to state

With the knowledge and skill of the smartest math students that go to Benilde-St. Margaret’s, math league is headed to state. The successful and talented team is lead by Mrs. Jean Nightingale, senior high math teacher. After not qualifying for state last year, the math league came back this year ready to dominate. In the past sixteen years, they have attended state eleven times. This year, the team got second in sections, which would typically mean they would not be eligible for the state event. However, since their score was so high, they got invited. The state meet will be held on March 10th at South St. Paul High School.
