The BSM Alpine team competed in their second invitational of the year as the took to the Buck Hill slopes. With the frigid temperatures, the icy hills provided a slippery surface for skiing. The boys team finished in sixth place out of the twenty three competing schools while the girls finished in twelfth place. Junior captain Jackson Fortney finished as the fastest skier for the BSM team finishing in twenty fifth overall with a combined time of 45.76 seconds while junior Alex Setchell finished with an impressive combined run of 48.85 seconds landing her in eighteenth place for the girls side of the competition. “All of the individuals, both Varsity and JV, made a contribution to their team at the invite. It was impressive and the effort showed from everyone on the team,” Fortney said.
