New forensics class teaches students about crime scene investigation
September 19, 2013
For those seeking education in crime and crime scene investigation forensics, a new class has emerged from the BSM Science Department. Dedicated to the education and utilization of the technologies used to find and catch criminals, the Forensic Science class has drawn considerable interest. The course studies the use of fingerprints, hair, DNA typing, chemical analysis, blood spatters, as well as other physical evidence and their uses in catching criminals. The course draws fans of C.S.I, Law and Order, Criminal Minds, and all things forensic. “Be careful [about] what you do because whatever you do you leaves evidence behind and Mr. Wander, myself, and 17 kids will find you,” forensics teacher Mr. Bob Lyons warns.

Great idea and a class that couldn’t be more thought provoking.
