The Red Knights began their section play with a 7-6 win over the Orono Spartans. The Red Knights jumped out to a 4-1 lead thru two innings and a two-run sixth inning brought across the winning runs for the Red Knights. Senior Dan Labosky went 3-for-3 and scored two runs but also recorded the save with two innings of relief work to end the game. With the win the Red Knights advance in section play where they will face the Hopkins Royals.
