Over the past few years, Self Defense Classes have been held for Benilde students in order to raise awareness and teach kids to be more cautious in potentially dangerous situations. This year, sponsored by the Parent Association and put on by the Plymouth Police Department, the girls’ class was filled with 24 students with a waiting list for an available positions to be filled. The boys class had 10 students in total.
