After an extra inning win over Spring Lake Park, the Red Knights split a doubleheader with Cretin-Derham Hall and North Branch. The team lost 11-1 in five innings to Cretin-Derham Hall but defeated the North Branch Vikings 7-5 in the second game. The Raiders had a total of thirteen hits and capitalized on three Red Knight errors. Senior Dan Labosky drove in the lone Red Knight run but otherwise, the Red Knight offense had little effect on the game. Against the Vikings, the Red Knights used a six-run fifth inning to earn the victory with Riley Simonetti producing a key two-run single in his first varsity game during the fifth inning. John Vecere made his first varsity appearance and recorded the save for the Red Knights who now improve to 9-5 on the season with a chance to take the conference lead with games against Cooper and Totino-Grace this upcoming week.
