Behind the strong relief pitching of Colin Polarek, the Red Knights defeated the Spring Lake Park Panthers 6-5 in nine innings. The Red Knights scored four runs in the first three innings and heading into the last inning had a 5-2 lead; however, the Panthers scored three runs and tied the game up. Colin Polarek took over pitching duties for the Red Knights in extra innings and prevented any other damage from the Panthers. Junior Mikey McGill then drove a ball into the outfield in the bottom of the ninth and gave plenty of time for Keaton Studsrud to score the winning run and give the Red Knights a 6-5 win. The win moves the Red Knights within one game of the conference lead and an overall record of 8-4 on the season.
