The Red Knights returned to action sweeping the Chisago Lakes Wildcats in a doubleheader and improving their record to 6-3 overall and 3-1 in North Suburban Conference play. The Red Knights picked up a 5-4 win in the first game and returned to defeat the Wildcats 7-4 in the second game. In game one, the Red Knights pushed all five of their runs across in the first three innings and junior Mikey McGill pitched six innings and senior Dan Labosky picked up the save. Labosky also went 2-for-4 at the plate and scored two runs and junior Michael Kaminski went 2-for-3 with two RBIs. In game two, the Red Knights scored at least one run in the first four innings and behind the combined pitching performance of juniors Dunham DeRemer, Marshall Hoemke, and Colin Polarek the Red Knights earned the 7-4 win. Junior Mikey McGill and senior Dan Labosky both picked up two RBIs in the win. The Red Knightâs next game will be against the Wayzata Trojans as the team looks to extend their three-game winning streak.
