The Red Knights were unable to get in the winning column as the St. Francis Fighting Saints defeated the Red Knights 56-45. The Red Knights inability to score once again proved fatal to their winning chances and saw another halftime lead disperse. The Red Knights built a lead going into halftime, but starting the second half, the Red Knights couldn’t buy a bucket and St. Francis began to build a lead. The Red Knights fought to get back into the game, but in the end, they were unable get the win and St. Francis won 56-45. Junior Sam Lynch hit three three-pointers to lead the team with 11 points and Jayson Edwards scored ten points off of the bench. The Red Knights fall to 6-16 on the year and look to end their losing streak when they travel to Cooper to face the Hawks and superstar Rashad Vaughn on Tuesday.
