From Tame Impala’s successful and brilliantly made record, “Lonerism,” comes a clever and mesmerizing song, “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards.” One of the album’s favorites, this song combines Tame Impala’s psychedelic and rock sides. “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards” uses synth guitars and a catchy chorus that is both exciting as it is meaningful. Despite their repetitiveness, the lyrics never get old, and neither does this song.
