There were thirteen BSM skiers selected to participate in Nordic section 6 championships at Theodore Wirth Park on February 4. Out of the skiers, two racers, junior Andrew Egger and freshman Amanda Kautzer, qualified for state after their finishes in the meet.

In the race, the boys’ team finished seventh out of eleven teams. Egger finished with a time of 32:16 landing him in seventh place as an individual and cementing his place at the state tournament.

The girls’ team finished tenth out of twelve teams, with Kautzer leading the team finishing ninth out of the seventy-five total racers, qualifying with her 37:30 time.

Egger and Kautzer will be competing at the State Tournament on February 13 and 14.
