Following a visit to Xavier University last week, senior Haley Jerabek accepted an offer to run Division I track for the school. Jerabek knew she would be either playing soccer or running track in college, but her talent in the 800 meter race drew her to commit to Xavier on January 27.
Xavier University has more to offer than just a great track team. “Xavier is a good fit academically first of all. The coach said I could focus on my academics,” Jerabek said.
Playing division I sports requires a big time commitment to make practices and still go to class. “[At BSM] I learned how to manage my time well. There are going to be a lot of practices, but I think it will be do-able,” Jerabek said.

Congratulations, Haley. Soccer is going to miss you–you’ve brought a lot to
the game and to BSM’s program.
