After the success of his outstanding 2011 album, “Every Kingdom,” Ben Howard’s Burgh Island EP was an equally impressive follow-up. One of the best songs off this EP is “Esmerelda.” Howard stays true to his strong folk presence with a slow and moody build up mostly comprised of acoustic instruments. This song along with the entire Burgh Island EP, proves that Ben Howard is one of the most promising British artists who’s here to stay.
