The 20 members of the knowledge bowl team had their first meet of the season at Holy Family Catholic School on Tuesday, November 27. On the team earned 13th place out of 48 teams. “It went okay, but we would have liked to have done better,” Head coach, Mr. Tom Backen said. The knowledge bowl team’s biggest competitors are Prior Lake, Eden Prairie, Wayzata, and Holy Angels. “We would like to do really well at our conference meet that we are holding at BSM in February,” Mr. Backen said. The knowledge bowl team practices every Tuesday and Thursday for an hour after school and plans to achieve an even higher ranking at their next meet.
