The popular app Snapchat allows anyone with an iPhone or Android to send photos to friends in a quick, efficient, and entertaining way. Snapchat differs from just texting photos by allowing people to send an array of photos to others without worrying about being scrutinized due to a one to ten second time limit. After the time limit for the viewer runs out, the photo is instantly deleted. Every time a friend sends a photo on Snapchat, a notification pops up, keeping the Snapchat user up to date with their friends’ photos. “I like Snapchat because you can take weird photos, yet they only stay for a few seconds. I like four to five seconds because it gives enough time to read the message sent and also look at the photo,” junior Danny Hogan said.
