Boys’ soccer shocked the conference with a 2-2 tie to conference favorite St. Louis Park on Tuesday, September 4. Early in the first half, senior defender Jake Sherman put the ball in the net after a throw in was deflected by senior midfielder Matteo Potter. St. Louis Park redeemed themselves shortly after when Hashim Aideed rebounded off the crossbar. Minutes later, SLP forward Artis Curiskis broke free from the Red Knight defense and gave the Orioles a 2-1 lead. After several near-misses by the Red Knights, BSM junior forward Jon Paquette scored the final goal of the game, solidifying the 2-2 tie.
