In one of the more aggressive games of the year, Benilde-St.Margaret’s boys’ hockey team lost 6-2 to the Moorhead Spuds. Sporting the brand new jerseys commemorating teammate Jack Jablonski, the Red Knights spent much of the game in the penalty box. The game was evenly matched until the Spuds capitalized on the 3-2 lead heading into the third. Scoring three goals in the final period, the Spuds took the momentum from the Red Knights. The Uglem brothers of Moorhead had an accumulative nine points. Junior Grant Besse scored two of the Red Knights’ goals in flashy fashion. With a 13-5 record, the Red Knights will face the Bloomington Jefferson Jaguars, who have a record of 3-12.
