Led by a hat trick from junior forward Tj Moore, the boys’ hockey team beat Duluth Marshall by a score of 5-2 on Saturday, Dec. 10. BSM fell behind early after a first period shot by Hilltopper Connor Flaherty deflected off of senior goalie Anders Jecha’s glove and trickled into the net. Following the Duluth Marshall goal was Moore, who had two goals in the second period and added the game winner in the third to give him the hat trick. Junior forwards Daniel Labosky and Grant Besse both assisted on all three of his goals. Junior forward Seth Chumley and senior forward Christian Horn added insurance goals at the end of the game.
