The top-ranked boys’ hockey team had its first taste of success in the season’s first game against St.Cloud Tech. Scoring 16 goals from 64 shots on goal, the team seemed to do no wrong. For several players, this game was an opportunity to gain more points, especially senior forward Christian Horn who broke the school record with six assists.“I have been trying to break this record since I was a freshman, but I am also only 32 points away from getting the points record and I am also a few away from the goals record. Those are my personal goals to achieve,” said Horn. Several players scored multiple goals, including standout junior forward Grant Besse and senior forward Jake O’Borsky. Their next game is on Thursday, Dec. 1 against long-time rival Hill-Murray, where senior defenseman Jonah Johnson will be returning to play his old school.
