Red Knights danced until they dropped Saturday night at the Homecoming dance. This year the administration introduced a new rule mandating that ladies had to either suffer in their heels, wear their dates’ socks, or find flats to wear. Only a few girls were aware of this rule before entering the dance, leaving many girls dancing in men’s dress socks. Another change for this year’s dance was a $5 price drop per person, and an eco-friendly approach was taken by not printing off tickets. BSM helped cut costs by using Christmas lights for decorations. “The lights were really pretty, and they were simple but very elegant,” said senior Alexa Hansen. “I think this was the best homecoming I’ve been to. My freshman year we all sat down and booed the DJ. [This year’s DJ] played all the good songs.”
