After taking the National Spanish Exam earlier this spring, 13 students at all different Spanish levels received some of the highest scores in the country. 47 students placed in the top percentage, and 34 addition students received honorable mentions. AP Spanish student Anne Kluis (‘11) and Spanish 1 student Matt Wolf (‘14) were both awarded silver medals. Bronze medals were given to AP Spanish student Emily Herrmann (‘12); Spanish 3 students John Bowman (‘13), Liza Magill (‘13), Charles Houtz (‘13), Catherine Cole (‘13), and Anne Arnason (‘13); Spanish 2 students Zach Hale (‘14), Samantha Letscher (‘14), and Marie Duque (‘14); and Spanish 1 students Jack Johnson (‘14) and Daisy Richmond (‘15).
