Well-represented with 25 girls and 25 boys at the track meet hosted by Totino-Grace on April 6, the track & field team scored highly against the other two teams, Fridley and Totino. Sunny weather in the high 50’s allowed for a successful meet in which the boys’ and the girls’ teams earned high points. Highlights included the girls’ 4×200 and 4×800 relays earning first place; along with senior Trevor Yedoni competing in the high jump event and senior Natalie Perrine in pole vaulting. Sophomore Hayley Jerabek won first place in the girls’ mile and represented the team well in the 4×800 relay. “We had a really good turn out. The majority of our teams, both girls and boys, got either first, second, or third place, which earned a lot of points for our team as a whole,” said senior captain Sam Flumerfelt.
