In tough economic times, when a number of Catholic Schools have either delayed or terminated their Campaigns, Dr. Tift has continued to visit with donors, alumni, and parents to discuss the mission of BSM. Raise the Red— a $30 million, six-year campaign intended to build a new Junior High, new athletic facilities, and add classrooms and common space— has seen exceptional growth in gifts over the past few years. $4,200,000 has been raised for the Athletic fields, which will be completed by June 30, 2011. Richard Olson, BSM’s vice president of advancement continues to pursue the mission which he holds close to heart. “It is important to remember the words of St. Francis of Assisi when he said ‘for it is in giving that we receive.’ The BSM community continues to live these words,” said Mr. Olson.
