Kathy Jacobson thinks that students are not as smart as they think they are.

Where do you want to be in 15 years?
“Well, I’m retiring this year, so I am hoping that I’ll be traveling quite a bit and spending a lot of time at my cabin still.”

What talent do you find unique or important to you?
“I don’t know if it’s a talent, but my ability to laugh at everything. My ability to make fun of myself and laugh.”

Describe your childhood in 4 words.
“Carefree, loving, adventurous, family.”

Who is your hero, and why?
“Michelle Obama. I think it’s because she was thrust into a situation that was very difficult, and she handled it with such grace.”

What is an item you bring with you everywhere, besides a cell phone?
“Chapstick.”

What makes you laugh?
“Students. Teenagers. They think they’re so smart, but they really aren’t yet.”

Are you someone that wants someone to spoil the end of a show or movie for you?
“No.”

What is your least favorite fast-food chain?
“Burger King is my least favorite just because I think they’re gross inside.”

What fast-food chain is your favorite?
“Panera. Is that considered fast food? I would say Panera would be my favorite.”
