Despite losses this season, the ultimate frisbee team looks forward to finding success next year.

This year’s BSM Ultimate Frisbee team coached by Jake McKean, a professional ultimate frisbee player, and BSM French teacher, Joe Moravec, ended with a record of 1-5 in regular season games, and they went 2-4 in their tournament.

Despite their challenges, the team did have some good memories. “The best part of the season was when we beat Edina 15-13 after being behind the majority of the game; our team came together and we were able to come back,” sophomore Sam Rocheford said.

The team is optimistic for better results next year. “What we mainly need to work on is finding the open person on the field instead of forcing a pass,” Rocheford said. “Despite the disappointing results, the team had a lot of fun and looks forward to a better season next year.”
