Opening on April 29 and lasting through mid-May, the BSM Art Department will be hosting a pseudo-art gallery showcasing pieces of many different mediums and from many different students. The display will mainly feature senior’s artwork and give them the ability to arrange their work into a panel of their best pieces as well as write an artist’s statement that will present what they are working on in their art classes. Sophomores and juniors who are advanced in their artistic talent will also have the chance to put their work into this display. “For the students, it’s an opportunity to show their school community all the hard work they’ve put in. It gives them practice arranging a show in a gallery-type setting,” junior and senior high art teacher Ms. Christine Kinney said.
