With the recent tragedy in Connecticut, measures have been taken across the country to ensure safety of students in schools and assist parents experiencing difficulty in sending their children off to school from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on a daily basis. One precaution BSM has taken is making sure students know what to do during frequently scheduled lockdown drills. Today during second hour, students were able to get into classrooms quickly and efficiently when the code yellow lockdown sounded over the loudspeaker. “I’m always amazed at how quickly we can lock down when we need to,” Senior High assistant principal Mrs. Mary Anderson said.
