Canadian-bred singer/songwriter Patrick Watson received a decent amount of success after performing “To Build a Home” (a song that I highly recommend) with the Cinematic Orchestra in 2007, but his second studio album “Closer to Paradise” has gone under the radar in America. The song “Luscious Life” is a great example of one of these under appreciated songs. The jazzy build-up combined with his relaxing voice creates a brilliant song that needs to be heard by more people.
