Every year, Benilde-St. Margaret’s sends students to visit St. Hubert’s, Carondelet, St. Bartholomew’s, St. John the Baptist, and Our Lady of Grace elementary schools. The visits give prospective students currently enrolled in these western suburb Catholic grade schools an overview of attending Benilde-St. Margaret’s. “It’s hard to tell how much of an impact the visits have, but I think it does get the kids talking,” Director of Admissions Ms. Kate Leahy said.
Despite the unknown impact, reaching out to these schools will introduce kids to the BSM community. “It was a good way to share the spirit of our school to kids who might attend here in the future,” senior Adam Bilski said.
