In the last regular season game, the Red Knights defeated the Totino-Grace Eagles 9-0. Sophomore Jackie Pieper scored her first hat trick of the season, and sophomore Abbey Miller recorded her 7th shutout of the season. BSM started off slowly, scoring their first goal late in the first period by sophomore Ali Praus. Praus’ goal was followed by a power play goal from junior Liv Halverson. To end the first period, Pieper scored her first of three, ending the first period with a 3-0 lead. The Red Knights came out strong in the second period, but only scored two goals, both from sophomore Kelly Pannek. In the third period, senior Aly Hoffman scored a short-handed goal, followed by a power play goal from junior Sara Taffe. Ending the third period, Pieper scored two more goals, completing her hat trick. The Red Knights move on to sections this Saturday, February 11, at 12:00 P.M. against North Metro.
