A surprisingly fresh take on the neo-soul bandwagon. Syncopated echoes and vintage lp crackles make for a fifties-esque dance track that’s equal parts dark, hypnotic, and infectious. Singer Sarah Barthels ethereal, laid back style sounds like the by-product of a tryst between the vocal cords of Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) and Romy Croft (the xx).
