As the rain subsides and summer approaches, the Lyndale Park Rose Garden will be blooming with flowers. This exquisite 1.5-acre garden, located on the northeast end of Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, exhibits over 3,000 plants in 100 varieties. Designed and constructed in the early 1900s, the Lyndale Park Rose Garden is the second oldest rose garden in the country. Discover this sanctuary after a run or walk around the beautiful lake this summer as the roses are typically in bloom from mid-June through October. The garden is open from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily during the summer months providing a peaceful retreat for nature enthusiasts.
