The AP Euro Review: a journey in procrastination

February 25, 2014

It’s 11:09 p.m. (nine minutes after my self-imposed bedtime) and I’m far from snuggling under my flannel bed sheets. By the looks of it, I will be violating my own rule for the fifth night in a row, and, judging by my track record, this won’t be the last time. I’m on Tumblr, of course. Or, at least, I was. Then I clicked on link for a YouTube... Continue Reading

Boys’ hockey beats Chisago Lakes

Playing against a conference rival, the Red Knights scored early and often, and BSM beat Chisago Lakes 7-2 at the St. Louis Park Rec Center. Junior forward Tanner Ahlborn opened the scoring for the Red Knights, but Chisago answered back three minutes later. Both teams scored again in the period, and the first ended tied at 2-2. The Red Knights came out determined in the second and scored two more goals, and from that point on the game was all BSM, registering 38 shots on goal the rest of the game while holding Chisago to five. Senior forward Christian Horn and Junior forward Grant Besse both scored twice, while three of their seven goals came on the power play. Senior goaltender Anders Jecha got the win, and the Red Knights remained undefeated in the North Suburban Conference.
