Many BSM students shop at trendy stores to get their wardrobes for summer.

Snow is melting, temperatures are rising, and summer wardrobes are being brought out of storage. 2023 was filled with all sorts of trends and now the summer of 2024 is approaching and who knows what the fashion turn out will be this year. Keep reading to find out what the predictions are for fashion in summer 2024.

The first place is most commonly known as “the Bins” or the Goodwill Bins. The Bins are usually in a big area with a bunch of vintage and used clothes thrown in containers to sort through. Sometimes you are able to find really good pieces of clothing. The bins have recently become more popular due to social media influencers going to the bins and finding good basics and fabulous statement pieces. More kids are starting to shop at the bins because it’s unique, and you get good prices on almost every piece you find. “I feel like personally I’ll be shopping at the bins. You know it’s easy, it’s fun, you can go with friends and you always end up getting a cute piece of clothing so you can’t go wrong,” sophomore Luci Barranco said.

Another place that students will be shopping at for the summer is Aritzia. Aritzia is well known for its amazing bodysuits and basics, and that still applies during the summer season. Aritzia is a perfect place to get cute summer dresses, tank tops, and shorts. As long as you don’t have a narrow budget, Aritzia is a perfect store to visit. Not only does Aritzia do a great job of refreshing its clothes with the changing season, but it is also consistently recognized for its durability and great quality of clothing. “I love shopping at Aritzia even if it’s expensive simply because It’s one of those stores where you can’t really go wrong… All of their clothes are so cute, and you can style them in many different ways,” junior Bridget Wickner said.

The last place BSM students are shopping for clothes is Target. Target is popularly known for its wide selection of items, ranging from food to electronics and skincare to batteries. But recently people have been noticing and bringing to attention Target’s new surge for fashion. Its clothes section has always been deemed a ‘hit or miss’ but recently students who frequently visit Target say that they’ve been purchasing more and more clothing items. “I’ve actually been shopping for clothes at Target a lot, their prices aren’t insanely high but they actually have some cute things. I got all of my swimsuits for spring break from Target and I got so many compliments,” sophomore Grace Soderling said.
