Aritzia, Uggs, and Lululemon have been popular brands for countless years. Even though they are top-notch brands, each is known for their high, and sometimes unreasonable, prices. Many people have recently begun searching on Amazon for “dupes” that are similar products for a huge discount.
I recently purchased the dupe for the popular Aritzia hoodie on Amazon from the brand “Trendy Queen.” The classic Aritzia hoodie is $90 and the hoodie purchased off of Amazon was $40. The hood, fit, and fabric were very similar. Both had a lot of room as they were being sold as “oversized”. The main difference was the color, which was not an issue to me. I had ordered brown and the Aritzia version was a darker brown, while the Amazon Trendy Queen had a red undertone.
After testing out the Aritzia dupe, I would not purchase the Aritzia hoodie over the Amazon version. The Amazon version has the same thickness as the Aritzia, making both durable and warm for colder temperatures. For the price difference, the products are very similar and both are high quality products and very comfortable outfits to wear at home and outside.
The Uggs shoe brand has always had popular products whether they are new styles or old designs being resurfaced. Many Uggs brand shoes can be anywhere around or above $150. Recent Amazon dupes that have been created are roughly $45. The Uggs shoes are known for being a hassle when worn outdoors as they can be severely damaged in rain and snow. The Amazon dupe from “Lansgeling” is stated as an outdoor shoe that is water resistant. The appearance and comfort level of the fur lined shoes are incredibly similar.
As the Uggs version is roughly $100 more than the dupe, I would recommend purchasing the Amazon product. To be able to wear the Uggs outside without any risk of damage, many people purchase a spray product that acts as a barrier between the shoe and any precipitation, which is just an extra expenditure.
Lululemon, one of the most popular athleisure brands, has been dominating many people’s wardrobes. Amazon has been selling dupes for the Lululemon scubas, shorts, leggings, align pants, and more. The most purchased dupe is for the $118 scuba sweatshirt. Many of the Amazon dupes price at around $30. I have not personally purchased these products, but have seen others wearing them and can not tell a difference in the appearance of the product. Both have a wide range of colors and the product sold is identical to the color shown online.
I personally think that for the scubas the Amazon dupe is a great option. It is so much easier to purchase a better size as the Lululemon scubas have only three sizes being S/M, M/L, and XL/XXL. Amazon sells smalls, mediums, larges, and extra larges all as separate products, which makes it much easier to decide which size to choose. Although the dupes are good, I will still continue to purchase products from Lululemon. I think if you have a Lululemon gift card all of their products are high quality, but not worth the full price if purchased often.
Overall, I would highly recommend looking into these Amazon dupes as they provide price friendly and very similar products to their original versions. As Amazon and other brands continue to produce more dupes to brands, it will continue to be easier to save money while still wearing trendy clothing.
