Winton Petty

Knight Errant: What’s your tattoo?

Winton Petty: Its a green axe and paddle.

KE: When and where did you get your tattoo?

WP: I was 18, and in Sioux Falls.

KE: Why did you choose the design you did?

WP: The logo of the camp that I go to, which is a sick camp. It really means a lot to me.

KE: Did it hurt? How did you feel getting it? Were you nervous?

WP: It’s like someone is holding a flame up to your skin, but its not as bad as you think it is.

KE: Have you always wanted a tattoo? Is it something you thought about for a while or kind of a rash decision?

WP: It’s something that my parents do not like, I convinced my mom because she knows it’s a big part of my life

KE: Do you think you’ll regret this?

WP: Absolutely not.
