Ms. Sharon Ingalls, who started her career at BSM seven years ago, says that BSM has taught her the importance of a community.

At the end of the 2019 school year, school nurse, Ms. Sharon Ingalls, is saying farewell to BSM.

Ingalls, who started her career at BSM seven years ago, says that BSM has taught her the importance of a community. “It goes back to the idea of community the luxury of having a community around you that supports you which is special,” Ingalls said.

Of course, Ingalls will miss this sense of community that BSM has offered her. “Something I will miss the most is the feeling of community and the fabulous people and the students I have been lucky to work with,” Ingalls said.

All of that time with the BSM community has made it hard for Ingalls to state a favorite moment. “It is hard to pick one, but it has been watching students that I have known since seventh grade graduate and turn into wonderful adults,” Ingalls said.

After retiring this year, Ingalls hopes to help out in the community and explore the world. “I jokingly tell people I’m going to be a champion pickleball player, but since I don’t know how to play yet that is kind of a stretch, but there are places I would like to volunteer, travel a bit, and just see what happens,” Ingalls said.
