Every night, I hop into bed with a heating pad and two blankets. I play music and have a timer that turns it off after 20 minutes. I find that I always want to stay up late so I can take full advantage of my time to relax but then I, in turn, am extremely tired the next day. I usually get into bed around 10 and stay up watching Netflix or am on my phone until 11:30 and wake up at 6:50 which gives me about 7 and a half hours of sleep. I take up my whole bed because I sprawl out and almost always end up facing the door with my right knee by my face and my foot on my thigh (think yoga tree pose). My dog, Addie, lays by my bed. I set about 5 alarms in the morning because I never want to wake up and I am always grateful for that extra 20 minutes.
