Colorful September leaves bring the sense of the beginning of fall

September

September

We’re off to a rough start here, ladies and gentlemen. The immediacy of the paradigm shift from August to September need not go unstated. Now, everything is windy, cold, and dreary. The morning and sun, apparently, are no longer on speaking terms, as we wake up to the darkness outside. September marks the return to school and the disruption of many precious sleep cycles.

There aren’t even any holidays in September unless we’re counting labor day, which, let’s be honest, is about as valid as a holiday as national barbershop quartet day. September does mark the beginning of the new television season which means yet another year of Law & Order: SVU. Not really instilling much confidence there. September receives two-and-a-half maple leaves out of five.
