“I found my identity by involving myself with a lot of activities here. The biggest one would probably be speech, because I’m able to artistically be creative and express myself through the drama category that I’m in. My pieces have been centered around African American history, specifically justice, which I am passionate about. Justice club and diversity stuff have also helped because I’m able to express my opinions and ideas about how we can create a more equal and equitable BSM environment. Being able to have friends too has helped me express myself as well.” -Brandon Banks
